Nikiszowiec – a picturesque working-class colony of the Giesche (Wieczorek) mine designed by Emil and George Zillman and built in 1908-1915. It consists of nine buildings, partially connected by characteristic roof design, and St. Anna Parish Church built in 1927. Nikiszowiec became a pearl among working-class colonies and many films about the Silesian district were made here. It is included in the Historical Monuments register. This historical site is frequently visited by tourists.
